Archetype II (Beetle) - Hand Finished Sculpture (Edition of 10)

Archetype II is a hand finished sculpture created by Jason Ebeyer, available as part of an edition of 10 pieces in the Beetle colour.

Each piece has been digitally sculpted, 3D printed in photopolymer resin and then painstakingly hand finished by the artist. Every edition of Archetype II goes through mulitple stages of dry and wet sanding over the course of days by hand, before being painted in a unique colorshifting metallic paint reminiscent of the iridescent shell of a Jewel Beetle. Archetype II is then finished with a protective coat of high gloss varnish and finally afixed to an adhesive felt base to ensure safe placement and display of the piece.

Each edition of Archetype II is made to order. Please allow 2 - 4 weeks for the creation of your object from your date of order.

Due to the hand finished nature of this object, slight variation in colouring and minor imperfections from the creation process are considered as a particularity of this type of work, making each piece one of a kind.
